Meet Liz Radford
The right coach makes all the difference. When you’re choosing someone to support you on your parenting journey, it’s important to know who they are, what they bring, and how they can help.
About me
I’m Liz — a parent, trained coach, and someone who understands how hard parenting can feel some days.
I started Yorkshire Parent Coaching to offer the kind of support I wish I’d had myself: calm, encouraging guidance without pressure or judgement. My work is grounded in real-life experience, professional training, and a belief that small steps can make a big difference.
Whether you’re navigating toddler tantrums, teenage tension, or just trying to work out what kind of parent you want to be, I’ll walk alongside you as you explore what’s working, what isn’t, and what might help.
This is a space where you can talk openly and be heard. Together, we’ll find practical ways forward that feel right for you and your family.
I’m based in Easingwold and work with families from York, Thirsk, and across North Yorkshire. I also offer online sessions if that’s more convenient for you.
My Story
Hi, I’m Liz – a grandma of two girls aged 1 and 3, and mum of two children aged 32 and 19. With a 13-year gap between them, I’ve navigated toddler tantrums and teenage moods at the same time — a unique challenge that taught me patience, flexibility, and empathy.
My background is in early-years leadership and management. I’ve always been committed to supporting families, especially as parenting becomes more complex and support feels harder to access.
In 2023, I became an accredited coach, combining my experience in child development with a passion for helping parents feel seen, heard, and supported. That’s why I created Yorkshire Parent Coaching — a calm space for parents to reflect, explore, and grow.
Why I Coach
I believe in self-awareness, strong relationships, and the power of reflection. Coaching creates space for connection and progress. I listen actively and help you tune into your values, patterns, and possibilities—so you can move forward with intention.
What Matters to Me
Your experience, your challenges, your hopes—they all matter. I meet you where you are and support you in the way that feels right for you. Empowered parents raise empowered children.
